Vitoria (Baskonia – Olimpia Milano 88-78) – Too many things didn’t go well in Vitoria, a bad game with the sequential losses of Mannion and Tonut leaving the team with five wingers and 11 players. Baskonia dominated the entire game, finishing it 88-78. Olimpia had good moments, in some moments, they overturned the inertia of the match but never for long enough. Turnovers, especially in the first half, many missed shots even at the rim, and a certain suffering on rebounds or on contested balls condemned them on an evening in which Baskonia certainly had more aggression, more clarity, more energy. It was his fifth consecutive victory at home where he manages to fuel his game, finding in Matteo Spagnolo what he hadn’t had from Markus Howard, and then an extraordinary Tim Luwawu-Cabarrot in crucial moments.
