NHL Scores: Slafkovský Goal, German’s Top Minutes

Slovak hockey player Juraj Slafkovský scored the ninth goal in the current NHL season on Thursday night. He helped Montreal win over Winnipeg 3:2 after separate raids.

New Jersey defender Šimon Nemec played more than 22 minutes against Dallas and was the team’s busiest player, but his team lost 0:3 at home.

Pavol Regenda also scored the second goal of the season. But San Jose lost to Washington by a big score of 1:7.

Slafkovský scored in the 30th minute when he finished off an effective power play after assists from Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.

The latter quickly passed the puck to him from behind the guests’ goal and Slafkovský beat Eric Comrie from close range.

It was the 6th power-play goal for him in the ongoing season, equaling his maximum from the 2023/2024 season.

Thanks to this, the Canadiens tied the game at 1:1 and later tied it at 2:2, while Slafkovský was on the ice for both conceded goals.

He returned to the first formation in the match. He played 20:06 minutes and added three shots on goal, three hits and two blocked shots to his statistics.

He scored in the fourth match in a row and has a record of 3+3 in the past six duels. After 26 games in the season, he has 15 points (9+6).

The Canadiens’ triumph was decided by Caufield, who was the only one to score in separate runs and scored in the ninth game in a row.

Montreal won after two losses and achieved the fourth triumph from the previous six games. Winnipeg continues to struggle and has won just once in the past seven games.
