The 2024-25 NBA G League season is there 24e season of the NBA G League, minor league of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
The season takes place in two parts with the first being played over 16 matches per team during the Tip-Off Tournament from November 8. The group stage continues for the top eight teams with the Winter Showcase. The regular season then takes shape with 34 matches for each team starting December 27. The Stockton Kings win in the final with Mason Jones voted best player of the finals[1].
For the start of the 2024-2025 season, the NBA G League added a new franchise, but lost one and relocated another franchise:
- The Ontario Clippers moved to San Diego and became the San Diego Clippers[2].
- The NBA disbanded the NBA G League Ignite franchise after four seasons[3].
- Phoenix launches its new NBA G League affiliate team with the Valley Suns this season in Tempe, Arizona, becoming the 31e G League franchise[4]. For the first time, all 30 NBA franchises each have their own G League affiliation.
- The Showcase Cup is renowned Tip-Off Tournament.
