“In this locker room, no one doubts” by Guerschon Yabusele, the French interior lacking playing time with the New York Knicks. Here is what his teammate Karl-Anthony Towns assured Friday in Las Vegas.
After a brilliant Olympic Games in 2024 (silver medal) and a convincing return to the NBA last season in Philadelphia, Guerschon Yabusele (29), captain of the Blues during the Euro this summer, is struggling to win over the New York Knicks, with whom he only plays 10 minutes per match on average, the 10th playing time in the squad, for 3.1 pts on average.
“Every time he comes into play, he must have a positive impact. He did it recently. We have nothing but respect and love for him“, assured his All-Star teammate Karl-Anthony Towns at a press conference on the eve of the NBA Cup semi-final against the Orlando Magic.
“We know what he is capable of, the whole world knows it, at least since the Olympic Games. In this locker room, no one doubts what Guerschon can bring us. So, I continue to give him the same advice: ‘every day be professional, work on your game, be as incisive as possible and, when you are called, influence the match'”, concluded the Dominican interior.
