70%, FROM RIVAS
This year, the club, which was created in 2010, has 17 federated players: seven women and ten men. 70% of its members live in the city, according to data provided by the entity. And 18 girls and 16 boys are trained at the municipal badminton sports school, with an agreement signed with the Department of Sports.

The training and classes are taught at the sports facilities of the El Olivar public school, the Hipatia municipal educational city and the Cerro del Telégrafo sports center.

According to Gonzalo Castañeda Condado, president of the club, these are “very important results that require a lot of background work. But we must not settle. We must continue to improve and strengthen our youth team.”
