In the 17th round of Serie A, Juventus celebrated their third win in a row as they took all the points away from the Pisa newcomers after a 2-0 result. The Czech youth representative Louis Buffon did not start for Pisa until the 84th minute, but he did not turn the tide of the match.

Fiorentina was unable to follow up on the first win of the season over Udine from the previous round (5:1) and is losing five points to save. Parma is fourteenth, five points ahead of the relegation zone.
Como took Lecce to an easy 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Paz, Ramón and Douvikas. Cesc Fábregas’ men succeeded after two defeats, leapfrogging Bologna by two points and are sixth in the table. But the team around Martin Vitík can take back the last cup spot in Sunday’s home game with Sassuolo.
Cagliari beat FC Torino 2-1 to move six points clear of the relegation zone. Eighteenth-ranked Verona, however, played two games less. Turin has only a two-point lead over its conqueror.
