Indoor World Series Rio: Ranking Rounds Archived

The fourth meeting of Indoor Archery World Series has officially opened in Rio de Janeiro. On the Brazilian shooting ranges today, December 12th, was dedicated to the various ranking rounds between recurve and compound bows: here’s how things went in detail.

Recurve bow
There were no Italians present, neither male nor female. Among the men who finished highest of all was the American totem Brady Ellison, with 597/600, ahead of the host Marcus D’Almeida (595) and the Frenchman Thomas Chirault (594). The ranking reserved for women was entirely Brazilian, with Isabelle Trinidad Estevez Pereira completing her performance with a score of 586/600, ahead of all the rest of the green and gold participants in the contest.

Arco compound
The very strong Dane Matthias Fullerton takes the number 1 seed with 598 points, ahead of the British Ajay Scott, second at 593, and the Dutch champion Mike Schloesser who finished at 590. The women’s ranking is Mexican: Andrea Becerra first at 598, compatriot Dafne Valeria Quintero Garcia second at 587. Behind them, the Brazilian Bianca Rodrigues at 584.

Tomorrow at Rio de Janeiro will be the turn of the individual clashes which will then outline the scoreboard of the finals valid for 3-4th place and for the stage victory.
