Indonesia’s SEA Games 2025 Victory: 7 Sports Dominated

The Indonesian contingent achieved brilliant achievements by winning overall champion titles in a number of sports. SEA Games 2025.

The dominance of the Red and White team can be seen from the consistency in winning gold medals in various events, from accuracy sports, extreme sports, to martial arts.

The sports that won the overall title for Indonesia came from triathlon, archery, badminton, dragon boat, rock climbing, pencak silat and wushu.

From the triathlon sport, Indonesia won seven gold medals, three silver and one bronze. The aquathlon event contributed the most medals, namely three gold.

After that the duathlon presented two golds and one silver. A total of seven gold, three silver and one bronze were awarded from this combined sport.

Furthermore, in archery the recurve number won four gold and one bronze, while the compound number contributed two gold. A total of six gold was awarded for archery.

Badminton has once again become a mainstay with three gold, three silver and four bronze medals. Three Indonesian gold medals out of a total of seven gold medals up for grabs.

The dragon boat event won four gold and two silver. Furthermore, rock climbing collected four gold, three silver and one bronze, which made Indonesia the overall champion.

No less proud, pencak silat and wushu are the cover of Indonesia’s dominance. Pencak silat contributed four gold, one silver and seven bronze medals.

Meanwhile, wushu performed extraordinary with five gold, three silver and one bronze. This series of results has brought Indonesia as runner-up in the 2025 SEA Games.
