North American media “ClutchPoints” reviewer Bert Siegel recommended the National Basketball Association (NBA) club Atlanta “Hawks” to trade Kristaps Porzingis to the Chicago “Bulls”.
“Given the current balance sheet of the Hawks, speculation about various trades involving the team has intensified,” the outlet writes. “The latest version of the potential deal is one in which Kristaps Porzingis is the central figure, but Nikola Vucevic and Kobe White would be acquired from the Chicago Bulls.”
“ClutchPoints” an insider Siegel has indicated that the Hawks have seriously considered signing Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis, but word around the league is that the Hawks will likely opt for a smaller, more flexible deal financially if they decide to part ways with Porzingis.
“While the Hawks have discussed and explored potential options for Anthony Davis, there has been no change in that regard,” the sources revealed. Teams around the league expect Atlanta to make a small move if they want to get rid of Porzingis, as the Hawks are believed to not sacrifice assets and Porzingis’ expiring contract just for Davis.
At the same time, ClutchPoints reminds us that this is just talk in the corridors of the league and there is currently no indication that the Hawks are actively pursuing Vucevic or White. However, the Hawks could be very interested in such a deal if a decision was made to trade Porzingis.
