Galician Indoor Archery Championship 2024: Results & Highlights

He archery autonomous community had an appointment in Corme. The Coruña town hosted the Galician Indoor Championshipa competition in which provincial sports once again demonstrated a high level, winning more than a dozen medals.

Five podiums were won by the members of the Lumelar Club. After some brilliant qualifying series, the final rounds were played in which Laura Seoane won the Galician title in the women’s juvenile recurve category, identical success as Gracia Elena Santos in traditional senior woman. In addition, a silver medal for Saúl Fernández in the men’s sub-15 recurve and bronze medals for José Manuel Vaz in the traditional senior men’s recurve as well as for the club’s youngest goalkeeper, Aarón Vázquez in the men’s pre-benjamín recurve. Good performance, although on this occasion without a podium, was performed by Mateo Vázquez, Héctor Rodríguez, Alexander Blanco, Brais Rodríguez, Roberto González and Miguel Sánchez.

The Lumelar Club also did not miss its appointment with the podiums. Title for Carlos Doval Pérez in compound bow +50 despite the “breakdowns” in his bow and also a gold medal for Marcos Rodríguez Alvar in recurve bow after achieving the minimum to attend the Spanish Championship. Afterwards, bronzes by Marta Dopazo Grande in a traditional female bow and David Pozo López in a recurve bow. Claus Seara finished seventh in recurve +50.

The Arco Cachamuíña Club also tried the metal, with the silver from Cristina Núñez in traditional woman and the bronze for Francisco José de Evan in traditional +50.
