“UNIUD goes to the basket with Apu”: training and comparison at the Benedetti

It took place in the afternoon of Thursday 18 December the training meeting was held at the “Manlio Benedetti” sports hall in Udine “Train to Train – UNIUD goes to the basket with APU”an initiative created by FIP Fvg in collaboration with Faculty of Motor Sciences of the University of Udine.

After an initial practical part which involved university students in the disciplines of the Benedetti Association – boxing, weightlifting, judo and volleyball – the attention shifted to the parquet for the activities dedicated to basketball and the youth sector of APU Udine.

During the afternoon it MiniApu staff proposed a training session focused on the theme of transition from minibasketball to the youth sectorfollowed by the in-depth analysis dedicated tointeraction between coach and physical trainer conducted by coach Antonio PampaniTechnical Manager of the Juventus youth sector.

The presence of university students was large and participatory, following the exercises with great interest and animating the discussion questions and interventions addressed to techniciansconfirming the value of the initiative as a moment of technical, educational and relational growth.

To underline the importance of the event and the proximity of FIP Friuli Venezia Giuliaalso intervened regional president Alberto Maria Camilottipresent at the Benedetti to support the project.

An afternoon of training and discussion that strengthened the collaboration between APU Udine, UNIUD and the territory, in the name of developing skills and sports culture.
