Einbeck Judo Club: 5 Members Honored

Einbeck (red). At the end of the 2025 training season, five members of the Einbeck Judo Club were pleased to receive new graduations in Judo and Ju-Jutsu. The club is particularly proud to welcome Sebastian Steiner, a new Dan holder in Ju-Jutsu, to its ranks.

Sebastian Steiner took the demanding test for 1st Dan in Ju-Jutsu. He had to demonstrate various defensive techniques both while standing and on the ground. In addition, his skills in stick and knife defense as well as free self-defense against two attackers were tested. After around an hour of intensive testing, he successfully completed all tasks and received his black belt at a celebratory ceremony. He is now officially one of the masters of this martial art.

New Dan degrees and successful belt exams

Alina Keppler and René Worien had already successfully passed the 1st Dan exam in judo last year and prepared intensively for the 2nd Dan over the course of the year. Both impressed the examiners with very good performances. The exam content included, among other things, the Nage-no-Kata, a set sequence of classic judo techniques that is mandatory for the 2nd Dan. In addition, throws, ground techniques, combinations, counter techniques and self-defense were tested.

René Worien, who already has 4th Dan in Ju-Jutsu and works as a national trainer in Ju-Jutsu, was able to contribute his extensive experience. Both passed the exam with flying colors and deservedly achieved 2nd Dan in judo. With this graduation, Alina Keppler is now the highest-graded Dan holder in the Einbeck Judo Club.

Amelie Rother and Christian Hesse, both experienced judoka, have also been training jujutsu in the Einbeck judo club for some time. Now they successfully took part in a jujutsu test. Amelie Rother can now wear the orange belt, Christian Hesse received the green belt.

The Einbeck Judo Club e. V. warmly congratulates all examinees on their new graduations. Further information about the club is available online at www.einbeckerjudoclub.de to find.
