THE NOMINATED FOUND FOR THE CLUB OF THE YEAR, FIRE SOUL AND COACH 2026 
You have been absolutely fantastic in nominating the people and clubs who deserve an extra pat on the back for helping to make a difference to the sport of badminton every day.
We would like to pay tribute to those people 
Therefore, DGI Badminton together with Badminton Denmark now announce the first nominees for Club of the Year, Spirit of the Year and Coach of the Year 2026 
We start today by announcing the nominees for Club of the Year. The award is given to a club that cares for both its members, the local environment and the values of badminton 
In the coming weeks, we will publish the rest of the nominees in the other categories on this page.
The nominees for Club of the Year 2026 are:
Gug Badminton Club 
Iceland Brygge Badminton
Bov IF Badminton
All three clubs are nominated, among other things, for their unique togetherness with room for everyone of all ages and levels, and for their great effort every day to keep especially the young badminton players on fire, so that more people continue to play in the clubs – both girls and boys. An inmate who creates joy among the club’s members every day.
A jury will find the winners, and the winners will subsequently be honored on the final day of VICTOR DM 2026 in Sønderborg on 7 February 2026
