Couffé Badminton Tournament: 64 Players Compete

Couffé leisure badminton (BLC), which has 58 licensees, organized its annual winter tournament on Sunday. From Loire-Atlantique and Maine-et-Loire, they were divided into sixteen men’s doubles teams and sixteen mixed doubles teams to compete in their respective categories, making 64 players in total. “The best from each group meet in the semi-final and final”, specifies Ludovic Moreau, president of the BLC. In the Louis-Colas sports hall, seven fields were installed for fourteen teams. If the president wants to thank the volunteers, he focuses on the importance of good humor: “Together at lunch, we shared oyster baskets.” The winners in men’s doubles are Alex and Vincent Guiziou from Saint-Mars-du-Désert, Killian Blandin and Benoit Durand from Saint-Mars-du-Désert, ahead of Julien Linares and Maël Tressel from la Haie-Fouassière. In mixed doubles: Jérémy Chauvin and Virginie Sancelme from Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire, Alex and Judith Taff from Cordemais and Jimmy Albert and Émilie Marzelière from Saint-Mars-du-Désert.
