Álvaro López, player from the Leganés Badminton Club, has achieved two medals in the recently held Spanish Under 13 Championship (champion wanted) held in the Murcian town of Cartagena between December 5 and 7, held in the Murcian town of Cartagena.

Álvaro López, in the IM category, achieved a creditable fifth place, after a very tough match in which he would fall in three sets. In the DX modality, together with Inés Lemos, Ponteareas, would win bronze, also falling in three sets in an endless match. And finally, in the DM the second bronze would come, along with Eneko Rodríguez, Vegadeo, who would lose the semifinal in two closely contested sets.

Álvaro closes his participation in the Spanish Championships Se Busca Campeón, with a total of four medals in the last four years (2 silver and 2 bronze).

Vega Lopez

Vega López, sub11, was playing his second CE in less than a month. On this occasion no metal was brought, but he did hold a great tournament. In the IF modality, they could not close their classification as first in the group, falling in three sets. Already, in the DF modalities, together with Yue Fucha, Gredos San Diego, managed to advance from the group and reach the quarterfinal round.

In the DX modality, along with Mateo Amor, Vegadeo, also reached the quarterfinal round. In this way Vega returns with two fifth places.
