The game between the Portland Trail Blazers and Boston Celtics will take place on December 29th at 0:00 a.m. Both teams have already met twice in 2025, in March. The Celtics were always able to win these matches. This time they are favorites again, because coach Joe Mazzulla’s team is on the road to success. They have won all four games, home and away.
Almost the entire squad is available for the upcoming game. Only Jayson Tatum and Chris Boucher will not be on the floor. The hosts from Portland have significantly more personnel problems. Coach Chauncey Billups will be without Blake Wesley, Jrue Holiday, Jerami Grant, Matisse Thybulle, Scoot Henderson, Damian Lillard and Robert Williams. This means there are big gaps, especially in the backcourt and at the wing positions.
