The victory was won by the Italian Liza Vitozzi, who shot flawlessly and reached the finish line after 28 minutes and 31.5 seconds. Swedish biathlete Anna Magnusson took the second place, losing 11.4 seconds with one penalty lap, while Norwegian Maren Kirkeide was 39.5 seconds behind with three penalty laps and completed the top three.
