Barcelona: Top Payers at Women’s Euro 2025 | UEFA Payments

Barcelona received the highest payout from a $10.5 million (nine million euro) fund that rewarded 103 clubs whose players were selected for the 2025 Women’s European Championship.

Barcelona earned $664,000 (567,000 euros) paid at a daily rate of $1,280 (1,095 euros) during the time the players participated in the 16-nation tournament in Switzerland in July.

Spanish stars Aitana Bonmatí and Alexia Putellas led ten players from the three-time Women’s Champions League winner in the defeated finalist team, plus Keira Walsh from champions England. Barcelona also featured forwards Caroline Graham Hansen with Norway, Ewa Pajor with Poland and Sydney Schertenleib with Switzerland.

Bayern Munich was next with $545,000 (465,000 euros), including seven on Germany’s semi-finalist team, England’s Georgia Stanway and Denmark captain Pernille Harder.

Chelsea won $541,000 (462,000 euros) and Juventus, who provided most of Italy’s semi-finalist team, won $486,000 (415,000 euros) from UEFA.

English clubs together earned $2.78 million (€2.37 million), German teams earned $1.64 million (€1.4 million) and more than $1.52 million (€1.3 million) went to Italy.

The Spanish clubs together earned 1.36 million dollars (1.16 million euros), more than half of which went to Barcelona.
