Badminton: 2025 Budget & President’s Message | Adelino Liuzzi

2025 was an intense year characterized by many emotions for regional Badminton which gave high-level satisfaction in terms of organization and participation, confirming constant growth in both sport and attention towards the movement. The vision and credibility of the governing bodies, competent and close to the needs of the territory, represent the driving force of the results obtained.

On the occasion of the end-of-year holidays, best wishes arrive from the Regional President, Prof. Adelino Liuzzi, and a summary of the activities carried out.

“On the occasion of the end-of-year holidays I want to extend a big thank you to the members of the Regional Committee Davide Cafarelli, Bruno Nardo, Angelo Surfaro and Francesco Naccarato as well as to the provincial delegates Domenico Saladino for the province of Catanzaro and Giuseppe Barberio for the province of Crotone for the fruitful work carried out in 2025. As foreseen by the road-map in the last quarter the absolute, under, junior and senior federal championships were completed in addition to the regional championships provincial ones, in particular those of Catanzaro which took place in the magnificent Sersale building. Furthermore, at the invitation of the MIUR regional school office for physical education teachers, training courses were held in the five provinces held by the national trainers: Domenico Saladino in Crotone and Catanzaro, with the collaboration of Davide Cafarelli who also held the course in Cosenza and Bruno Nardo in the province of Reggio and Vibo Valentia in Calabria we have seen greater participation of schools in the various projects proposed by FIBa, Sport and Health and the sports promotion body CSAIn. A big thank you from the Regional President of the committee Adelino Liuzzi to the trainers.”
