Christmas Badminton: News & Updates – BadmintonBladet

On Christmas Eve at 18:56 Suzanne wrote….”…hope you are ready for some Christmas fun tomorrow at 09:30!”….right in the middle of the poker game while the food was being prepared.

Well, of course!

The agreement was finally confirmed at 11.10pm, while we finished the rice a la mande and the port wine….which I then kept a little longer with, despite its 30 years of age.

So up at 08.00 on Christmas Day. For some sunshine!

Two cups of espresso coffee with hot milk, 2 panodils and an ipren, half a liter of water, a bun with jam and a visit to the toilet…..then I was ready.

Steen also came, in addition to 6 young people from Præstø, Greve, Stubbekøbing and Svendborg.

After just two hours of playing, Steen and I took a shower and shared a Christmas beer – one of many Christmas present beers from my eldest son.

We are almost always ready, Steen “Gamle” Hansen and the undersigned.
