B.LEAGUE U18: Cholet Mondial Basketball Participation Announced

The Japan Professional Basketball League (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Shinji Shimada, hereinafter referred to as “B.LEAGUE”) is pleased to announce that the B.LEAGUE U18 selection team will participate in the “CHOLET MONDIAL BASKETBALL” as part of the B.LEAGUE NEXT STAR PROJECT.

B.LEAGUE, whose mission is to “produce world-class players and teams,” aims to develop stronger individual players through interaction with teams from around the world. The tournament will be held in Cholet, France, for four days from April 3rd (Friday) to April 6th (Monday), 2026.
As a B.LEAGUE youth selection team, we have participated in the “FUTURE STAR BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP” in Shanghai, China for two years in a row, but this will be our first time participating in an international competition in Europe. This will also be the first time that a team from the Asian region will be invited to the tournament.
