The Provincial Archery Championship held on November 30 in Bormujos left an unbeatable flavor for the Al-Kamas Club, which attended the event with a large representation of athletes and ended up becoming the most outstanding group of the entire day.. Up to thirty male and female archers, from the smallest categories to the veterans with the longest experience, defended the club’s colors, demonstrating the work that has been done during the season.
The participation of the group of prebenjamines and the performance of the archers from Arco and Salud were especially commented on, since both groups managed to take the first four positions in their respective events.. Added to this were numerous titles achieved by champions in the Standard Bow, Longbow, Olympic Recurve modalities in the Benjamin, Children and Cadet categories, in addition to the veterans who also managed to get on the podium. Each of these medals reflects not only the individual level of the athletes, but also the collective effort that marks the day-to-day life of the Al-Kamas Club.
The good performance shown by the group reaffirms the club’s place as one of the great provincial leaders in archery. The entity highlights that the results come thanks to the perseverance, enthusiasm and discipline that the athletes put into each training session, and it is trusted that this dynamic will be maintained for the next events planned in their sports planning.
The club also wanted to show its gratitude to those who contributed their bit during the competition, such as Manuel Álvarez, who was in charge of collecting the scores of the juniors, or little Álvaro, who was ready to help the youngest at all times. Likewise, special mention was made of the love received from nearby clubs, which accompanied and encouraged the participants throughout the day.
