2025 SEA Games: Indonesian Record Breakers

KOMPAS.com – The 2025 SEA Games will leave behind various interesting stories from the competition arena.

During this biennial sporting event, athletes show their best performance to compete for medals.

Indonesia was recorded as having succeeded in ranking second as the 2025 SEA Games medal winner.

Indonesia’s 2025 SEA Games medals totaled 91 gold, 111 silver and 131 bronze. In total, Indonesia won 333 medals.

Meanwhile, the top of the 2025 SEA Games medal standings is filled by host Thailand, with a total of 499 medals consisting of 233 gold, 154 silver and 112 bronze.

Behind the excitement of the closing and the achievement of the final standings, a number of special notes also colored the 2025 SEA Games.

The Indonesian men’s swimming team set a national record in the 4×100 meter freestyle relay.

The team strengthened by Jason Donovan Yusuf, Jeremy Elyon, Kevin Erlangga Prayitno, and Joe Aditya recorded a time of 3 minutes 21.92 seconds.

This score succeeded in surpassing the national record previously recorded at the 2017 SEA Games.

Diva Renatta

Female pole vault athlete, Diva Renatta Jayadi, won her first gold medal at the SEA Games.

Diva recorded a jump of 4.35 meters and became the best among other athletes in that competition on Thursday (11/12/2025).

Apart from winning gold, the jump of 4.35 became a national record, beating the previous record he set at the International Pole Vault Championships in Taiwan in March 2025.
