Makhachev vs. Jack: New UFC Champion Crowned!

Jack Della Maddalena vs Islam Makhachev presented at UFC 322. As a result of the fight, Islam won and became a double champion!

UFC 322 was held at Madison Square Garden, New York, USA on Sunday (16/11) morning WIB. The main duel is Jack Della Maddalena vs Islam Makhachev.

Jack holds the UFC welterweight championship belt. Islam as challenger, from middleweight champion who is aiming for a second belt.

The two fighters immediately traded attacks in the first round. Jack put more pressure with his combination punches. Islam kept his distance and counterattacked several times.

Islam ambushes, performs a single leg visa take down after two minutes. From the position above, Islam applies pressure. Jack tried to be patient, looking for a way out.

Jack almost succeeded, but Islam wouldn’t let go of his grip. This time Islam was on Jack’s back. Islam tried to lock Jack’s neck, but Jack was still able to hold on until the first round was over. Jack was warned by referee Herb Dean for making an illegal move to kick him in the face from a lower position.

Continue the second round, starting with the top game. Islam was more aggressive with two incoming leg kicks.

Islam attacks again, making Jack fall. Jack is back in defense mode in a ground and pound situation. He kept one hand away from Islam. This makes it difficult for the fighter from Dagestan to lock up.

Islam tried to finish off Jack in the last minute remaining, but Jack was able to stand up in the final seconds. Islam’s ground control in the first two rounds was three minutes each.

When Islam clinch, Jack can give combination punches. Not long after, Islam did another takedown!

Islam tried to put together a lock but again Jack was able to survive. Islam tried to go for a goal, but Jack was able to break free.

Continuing to the championship round, aka round four, Islam repeatedly kicked Jack, targeting his body. Islam attacks a double take down, returns to ground and pound.

Jack tried to run away, but Islam quickly got into a triangle position. Islam tries a kimura, but Jack survives.

Enter the fifth round, aka the final round. Jack, who intended to attack first, was immediately knocked down by Islam. Islam wanted to do kimura again but failed.

Islam recorded a total of 18 minutes of ground control in five rounds. Islam won via unanimous decision, three judges gave it 50-49.

Islam Makhachev Successfully won double championship! Has two championship belts UFC!
