Livradais Badminton: New Youth Course Launch

Sunday October 26, Badminton Livradais had the pleasure of organizing the first youth camp of the season at home.

30 young people from across the Lot-et-Garonne department took part in this day, supervised by Julien Vergez, Xavier Allard and Gaël Dolhain.

The theme: replacement and clearance, two essential fundamentals to progress in the game. The young people were motivated, concentrated and full of energy… to the point of leaving very tired, but happy with their day. “A big thank you to everyone for your commitment and your good humor! See you very soon for the rest of the season!”, would like to clarify the club managers at the end of this pleasant day of sporting meeting.

Note the great performances of the Livradais players during the departmental tournament in Villeneuve-sur-Lot.

Among the seniors, Julien Morel and Clara Dupuy reached the semi-finals of their category after competitive and spectacular matches. In mixed doubles, the pair formed by Lucas Martin and Élodie Roussel created a surprise by winning the final against an experienced team from Agen.

On the young side, the Livradais hopes were not unworthy: Léa Simon won in the junior singles, while Tom Bernard took second place in the juniors. Promising results for the future of the club, which relies heavily on training.
