The rivalry between Club Brugge and anderlecht is heating up, and this time the battleground is a promising young winger from Borussia Dortmund.
According to insider reports, both Belgian giants, Club Brugge and anderlecht, are keeping a close eye on Cole Campbell, a 19-year-old American winger currently on the books at Borussia Dortmund. Campbell is reportedly seeking a fresh start and has officially requested a transfer during the upcoming winter window, putting several clubs on alert.
European Clubs Vie for Campbell’s Signature
The interest in Campbell isn’t limited to Belgium. Reports indicate that Danish club midtjylland and German second-division side Elversberg are also actively pursuing the young talent.
Campbell’s journey in European football began in 2020 in Iceland, where he honed his skills in the youth academies of FH Hafnarfjörður and Breidablik. it was his impressive performances there that caught the attention of borussia Dortmund, leading to his move to Germany.
Since joining Dortmund, Campbell has progressed through the club’s various youth levels and has made his frist-team debut. He has accumulated seven appearances for the senior squad,though his future playing time remains uncertain.
