In the early Italian afternoon, at dawn in the United States, in fact, the organizers decided to postpone the departure by half an hourdue to snow fell during the night: the first heat will start at 6.30pm Italianwhile the second, with the inversion of the best thirty, will start at 9.30pm Italian.
In the first heat they will be five Italians at the start: Sofia Goggia col 16, Asja Zenere col 23, Lara Della Mea col 25, Giorgia Collomb col 27 ed Ilaria Ghisalberti with the 29th. Overall, however, they will be at the starting gate 56 athletes representing 17 countries.
