All Indonesian Men’s doubles final at Australia Open 2025 bring up Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin as champion thanks to a 22-20, 10-21, 21-18 victory over Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri who incidentally is his senior.
The men’s doubles final was the second top match played at Court 1 of the State Sports Center, Sunday (23/11/2025) morning WIB. The All Indonesian Final in this number has confirmed the championship title for the Red and White pair.
At the start of the first game, Raymond/Nikolaus continued to struggle in providing resistance to Fajar/Fikri who were more favored. At the interval, the lead belonged to Fajar/Fikri with 11-8.

After the interval, Fajar/Fikri was still in control. Point by point they continue to add in maintaining superiority. But Raymond/Nikolaus also did not want to lose and continued to fight to cut the gap.
Raymond/Nikolaus turn to lead! Through a series of six consecutive points, they were ahead 15-14. But Fajar/Fikri immediately responded by equalizing the score again and taking the lead again.
Again! Raymond/Nikolaus showed off their fighting power to equalize and then took the lead at 18-17, after Fikri failed to return the shuttlecock in front of the net.
Fajar/Fikri then had time to get to game point first. But again, Raymond/Nikolaus were able to catch up and even win the first game in the All Indonesian Men’s Doubles Final Australia Open 2025 it’s 22-20!
Entering the second game, Fajar/Fikri seemed to be trying to immediately take control in order to equalize the score. On the other hand, Raymond/Nikolaus also continues to overshadow their seniors’ points tally. Fajar/Fikri were ahead 11-8 at the interval.
After the interval, Fajar/Fikri able to continue adding point by point to stay away from achieving Raymond/Nikolaus. Fajar/Fikri ultimately won 21-10 in the second game, making the match continue to the third game to determine the title.
Entering the third game, the battle for points was fierce with the score tied. Raymond/Nikolaus were first away from points with a 5-3 lead, but Fajar/Fikri were immediately able to equalize at 5. Fajar/Fikri then chased back to 10-10 with four consecutive points, although Raymond/Nikolaus were still ahead at the interval with 11-10.
73 shot rally! Raymond/Nikolaus looked full of enthusiasm after winning a long rally duel to increase their lead to 16-11. Fajar/Fikri were still trying to catch up and were able to cut the gap, but their failure to return the ball at a crucial point meant that victory still belonged to their juniors. Raymond/Nikolaus won 21-18 and became champions!
After the Fajar/Fikri vs Raymond/Nikolaus duel, there are still Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu in mixed doubles and Putri Kusuma Wardani in women’s doubles who will try to add to the title for Indonesia in the final Australia Open 2025 on this day.
