Global premium brand Spider Korea (CEO Hwang Sae-rom)’s ‘SPYDER’ signed an official sponsorship contract with Heungkuk Life Insurance Volleyball Team Pink Spiders, a prestigious club in the women’s professional volleyball V-League. This agreement is significant in that it brings together a club representing women’s volleyball and a global premium brand to expand fan experience and present a new model for sports marketing.
Under this contract, Spyder will exclusively sponsor the athletes’ training wear, sports clothing and equipment, and support athletes to achieve the best performance in training and games through products with optimal functionality and design.
Spyder also strengthens its communication program with fans beyond simple sponsorship. We plan to provide an experience that allows fans to feel closer to the team and brand in their daily lives beyond the stadium through experiential events that fans can directly participate in at home games, production of digital original content containing players’ training and daily lives, and online challenges and community programs that connect fans and clubs.
A Spyder Sports Marketing official said, “Heungkuk Life Insurance Volleyball Team Pink Spiders is a prestigious women’s volleyball club and a team with the largest fandom, and it perfectly fits the performance philosophy that Spyder aims for. The symbol of ‘Spider’ shared by the team name and brand name makes the partnership between the two parties even more special. Through this sponsorship, “We will share new volleyball experiences with both players and fans, and we will carry out marketing activities that maximize synergy between both sides.”
In addition to this collaboration with the Heungkuk Life Insurance Volleyball Team Pink Spiders, Spider is making aggressive marketing moves and expanding its influence in the Korean sports marketing market by sponsoring various sports such as triathlon, badminton, and jiu-jitsu, as well as domestic professional baseball’s Hanwha Eagles, professional volleyball’s Hyundai Capital Skywalkers, and GS Caltex Seoul KIXX. It continues.
