NAC Appoints Feyenoord’s Former Field Manager

De Nijs played an important role in the excellent condition of the fields at Feyenoord and RKC Waalwijk. The Breda club is very happy that De Nijs has chosen to move from Rotterdam to Breda.

Since this summer, there has been a new and unique turf in the renovated Rat Verlegh Stadium. Now that the matte hybrid has been launched and will also ‘take off the gas’ in the coming months, there are major challenges in taking the next steps. The further development of this turf is high on the wish list of the Pearl of the South.

General Manager Remco Oversier is happy with the switch from De Nijs to NAC: “We want to be our own boss on all fronts. As field manager, Thimo will lay the foundation for our own grass team. In addition, this team will quickly get to know our latest and sustainable installations and will therefore take even more steps forward in the maintenance of our fields in the stadium and Zundert.”

HUBRA Fieldmanagement has ended its collaboration with NAC and thus said goodbye to a long-standing, loyal partner in field maintenance. Oversier: “We thank HUBRA Fieldmanagement for the intensive and loyal cooperation in recent years, in which they have worked for our fields through all weather conditions. They therefore deserve all the praise.”
