Karate Spoleto: Italian Cup & Youth Championships 2024

SPOLETO – An event entirely dedicated to karate will be held on Sunday 26 October from 8am to 6pm at the Palazzetto Don Guerrino Rota in Spoleto, organized by the Karate Team Italia & DA in collaboration with the Gruppo Karate Calzola of Maestro Lorenzo Calzola, directed by the managers of the Karate Team Italia Maestro Pietro Antonacci (President) and Elsa Epifani (Secretariat), with the patronage of the Municipality of Spoleto and included in the schedule of events of “It happens in autumn in Spoleto”.

Sixteen participating Amateur Sports Associations with athletes from 5 to 15 years old, forty technical teachers, managers and twenty-six match officials from 9 regions of Italy: Abruzzo, Campania, Lazio, Lombardy, Marche, Piedmont, Puglia, Sicily and Umbria.

Over 350 registrations for a total of approximately 250 actual presences of athletes who will compete with “kata”, sequences of codified movements representing fighting techniques and “Kumite”, one of the three fundamental components of karate training which is practiced with an opponent.
