Qualifying player Baptiste Rolin (BWF 540) lost his first round in Den Bosch in two sets (21-11 and 21-12) of the Deen Magnus Johanssen (BWF 69), the third series of head.
Among the women, Clara Lassaux (BWF 102), who was placed eighth, did not stand for the quarterfinals. Lassaux had to put the thumbs in two sets (21-19 and 21-14) for the German Gloria Poluektov (BWF 614).
In her second round, Tammi van Wonterghem (BWF 907) was unable to stunt against the Canadian top gap Wen Yu Zhang (BWF 47). She fell into two sets (21-12 and 21-4). Van Wonterghem had settled in a Belgian gathering with Lieke van Parys (BWF 411) in the first round. Karla Henry (BWF 415) also went out against the Malaysian Selvaduray Kisona (WTA 81), the fourth series in the first round.
