Student Nationals: Terni Teams – Orienteering & Badminton

At the ‘Donatelli’ scientific high school in Terni, led by Professor Luciana Leonelli, the male and female teams that will participate in the next national finals of the school sports competitions of Easterning (in Varese) and Badminton (in Montesilvano) were officially presented on Wednesday. Present the professors Lorenzo Bertinelli (coordinator) and Antonella Ghinassi of the regional school office – physical education and sports department (the work team also includes Gabriele Alfano), the boys who will take part in the competitions and teachers who follow them: Nadia Tanfani, Anna Barbino, Marco Toderi, without forgetting the work conducted by Professor Mario Gambini.

“For you guys – said Professor Bertinelli, who coordinates the physical education and sports department of the USR – is a beautiful emotion and a responsibility. It does not happen every year to participate in events like these and I am sure that your commitment will be maximum ». As for the discipline of tennis, the coordinator expressed “displeasure for the failure to participate by the Angeloni high schools of Terni who had gained access to the national final, motivated by the presence of boys to international competitions”. The finals of the Ett ‘da Vinci’ of Foligno, for the male, and of the omnicomprehensive institute ‘Salvatorelli-Moneta’ of Marsciano for the female are now expected to the finals.

Below are the representatives, all composed by students and students of the ‘Donatelli’ high school in Terni (with the exception of women’s orientation who also sees a student from the artistic high school ‘Metelli’ of Terni). Orienteering maschile: Gianmarco Pileri, Nicola Vitaloni, Tommaso di Bartolomeo. Orientation to Femmin: Francesca Maria Sebastiani, Micol Bergamotto, Benedetta Proietti, Maria Chiara Valentina di Sabatino (Liceo ‘Metelli). Male badminton: Matteo Mastriforti, Lorenzo Colasanti, Niccolò Pelini, Elia Selvetti. Female badminton: Francesca Maria Sebastiani, Chiara Silvestri, Agnese Fiocchetti, Paola Gerini.
