The national team led by Park Ju -bong returned home at Incheon International Airport on the 2nd after the 2025 World Personal Championships in Paris, France.
In this tournament, the national team won one gold and bronze medals. Seo Seung-jae (Samsung Life) and Kim Won-ho won the gold medal in the men’s doubles, and Ahn Se-young (Samsung Life) won the bronze medal in the women’s singles.
Seo Seung -jae, who won the gold medal with Kang Min -hyuk (Armed Forces Sports Corps) at the previous tournament in Denmark in 2023, won two consecutive games with Kim Won -ho. It was the only participant in this tournament to defend the title.
Seo Seung -jae said, “I am happy to have a good performance at (Kim) Wonho and the first world championship.” “I am confident that I will be able to do well in the future.” He said, “I didn’t think I could lose two consecutive defeats, but I feel good because I do it.”
