HATTEM – Last Friday the Badminton Club Hattem paid attention to the fact that the club was founded 50 years ago. In the clubhouse of the Ice Rink Association, members were able to meet each other and a festive program was enjoyed.
First of all, they were treated to a drink and a tompouce on which the club’s logo could be seen. A barbecue was organized, there were games ready and after dinner a pub quiz took place in which the music knowledge was mainly tested. And that was not easy for many. But participating was also more important than winning, just like with sports. There was enough room to meet and catch up again after so many weeks. In his chat, the chairman quoted what else had happened in 1975 and together the attendees found that the club with 68 members is still a thriving club.
