Salland Centraal: Big Club Promotion Returns

The highly anticipated “Grote Clubactie,” or Big Club Campaign, has officially kicked off across the Raalte municipality, igniting a fundraising fervor that began on September 20th. This annual event sees dedicated members from sixteen local sports associations hitting the streets, armed with lottery tickets and a shared mission: to bolster their club’s coffers.

The stakes are high, and the rewards are even higher for these grassroots organizations.A staggering 80 percent of every ticket sold goes directly back to the participating club. This initiative proved incredibly fruitful in 2024, generating millions that have fueled a variety of essential club activities. Imagine the impact: new gymnastics leotards for aspiring athletes, unforgettable youth camps that build camaraderie, much-needed renovations for clubhouses, or simply keeping membership dues affordable for families. It’s a powerful engine for community sports development.

With over 750,000 prizes up for grabs, the odds are stacked in favor of the participants – a winning ticket is drawn for every nine sold. The ultimate prize? A life-changing 100,000 euros. Mark your calendars, as the official draw is set to take place on November 11, 2025.

This year’s campaign features a robust lineup of clubs from the Raalte municipality, representing a diverse range of athletic pursuits:

  • From heino: Sportclub Hevo, Popkoor SVP, Rozendaelgroep Scouting Heino, and PSV Heino.
  • From Nieuw Heeten: SV Nieuw heeten.
  • From Heeten: Heeten Sportief.
  • From mariënheem: Vocluma.
  • and from Raalte itself: the Raalter Rescue brigade, Dog Dressage Association De Protecters, Scouting Raalte, AV Salland, SV Raalte, Handball Association Kwiek, Kwiek Badminton, Salvora, and Judo Association Salland.
