Recanati Sports Festival: Piazza Leopardi Event

Recanati – The third edition of the initiative that sees the sports clubs Recanatesi showcase their excellence and activities animated the historic center, attracting above all very young citizens.

Sport as a means of promoting well -being, culture and social aggregation. It is with this knowledge that the third edition of the Sports Festival took place yesterday, a real opportunity for confrontation between citizenship and thirty among the many Recanatese sports clubs that contribute to making the ‘City of Sport’ record.

The party animated Piazza Leopardi and Corso Persiani from the early afternoon until evening, involving people of all ages, with a great presence of families and very young. The municipal administration was present at the party.

Spaces that enveloped the entire Leopardi square, with stages, gazebos and slopes dedicated to the practical demonstrations of each sport represented, from basketball to tennis, from athletics to fencing, from judo to boxing, with the possibility of making known all sports disciplines, from the best known to the most particular ones.

The initiative has aroused great curiosity in citizenship, especially in the younger generations who were able to experience the beauty of making sports in community and sharing emotions with their companions.

The municipal administration underlined just how the social, educational and recreational dimensions of sport are fundamental for the construction of a healthy society, aimed in searching for well -being that must be protected without distinction of age, gender, social origin, physical and economic condition.

The sports clubs of Recanati responded in large numbers to the initiative, witnesses of a strong will to participate and sharing the values ​​that most distinguish sport: to get involved, face challenges and, above all, share emotions.
