Saturday September 6, the 1era Compagnie d’Arc d’Eclaron organized an afternoon of initiation to archery at the garden of Arc, route d’Ambrières. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., President Jacky Soudant and Jean-Luc Chevillion welcomed some young people from Eclaron and surrounding villages who came to discover this practice.
“It is an initiation. We offer one or even two test sessions before registering. We provide the equipment. The objective is to have diligent and competitive people even if we are also a club that accepts people not wishing to practice in leisure, ”says Jacky Soudeant. Young people present could take a license shortly. During this initiation session which also marked the start of the school year for the licensees of the past season, reserved for children from 6 years old, Jacky Soudant and Jean-Luc Chevillion took the opportunity to provide many advice on the equipment, the way of equipping themselves and drawing, the safety rules and presented the existing competitions throughout the season.
Regarding training, for the outdoor season which takes place from September to mid-October and from April to June, they take place on Wednesday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for children and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for adults, and Saturday for all, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the arc field. For the indoor season, in principle from mid-October to early April, they take place on Wednesday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for young beginners, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for adults session 1 and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for adults session 2 and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for young beginners, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for adults session 1 and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. At the Maison des Associations, opposite the school group.
