Edin Terzic: Dortmund to TV Punditry

Over a year ago, Edin Terzic stopped Borussia Dortmund coach. Since then he has always been in conversation, but has not yet accepted a new job as a trainer. Now he is facing another task: Terzic becomes TV expert.

Edin Terzic is back on the sidelines – but not as a trainer. The former BVB coach becomes TV expert at RTL. There Terzic gets two areas of application: international matches of the German national team and on Thursdays the games of the European Cup. Together with Lothar Matthäus, he forms the new expert duo from RTL.

It starts for Terzić on Sunday at the World Cup qualification game in Cologne between Germany and Northern Ireland. The preliminary reports start at 7:05 p.m., kick -off is at 8:45 p.m. Terzic debut alongside moderator Laura Wontorra, who gives her comeback in RTL sports in this game. On the European Cup evenings, Terzic is on the air alongside Laura Papendick.

Once Terzic was an expert at Prime Video

The 42 -year -old Terzic left Borussia Dortmund after the 2023/24 season. His last game as a BVB coach was the defeat in the Champions League final against Real Madrid (0: 2). After that he already gained TV experience: On October 22nd, he was a guest expert of Prime Video for the final revanche between Real and BVB (5: 2) in Madrid.

The games of Europe and Conference League are now on the program at RTL: the first match day is on 24/25. September. RTL transfers a game on free TV. There are other games on the streaming platform RTL+ as part of the show “Matchday!”, Where Patrick Helmes, Max Kruse and Felix Kroos appear as experts.
