Una línea de medias puntas que para mí, junto a la del Sporting, pude ser la mejor de categoría; jugadores como Yeremay, Cruz, Soriano, Stoichkov o Mella son muy buenos en el desborde en acciones individuales y en buscar las espaldas del rival, son muy peligrosos en las transiciones ofensivas con el rival mal parado. Arriba la llegada a última hora del delantero italiano Mulattieri le ha dado un enorme potencial, jugador muy potente y con muy buena relación con el gol, en su debut hizo un gol de acción de remate y provocó un penalti en una acción simila. Jugador que se maneja muy bien en los centros laterales y que se puede aprovechar muchísimo de los jugadores talentosos y verticales que tiene el Deportivo en esa línea de tres medias puntas.
Partido exigente ante un buen rival, mucho cuidado a las perdidas de balón y no estar bien parado, el Dépor tiene jugadores que te pueden matar con espacios y mucho peligro en las acciones a balón parado porque ahí el míster se maneja muy bien y en esta categoría ayudan mucho a ganar partidos que por juego no puedes hacerlo.
Prioritario defender fuerte, ser un equipo muy corto en defensa, recuperar rápido las posiciones defensivas para evitar sus contraataques y mucha atención al balón parado. Lo demás se lo dejamos a Gelabert, Otero, Dubasin y Gaspar… Ellos tienen que preocuparse y mucho de este perfil de jugadores.
