Badminton Soria-CS24: Iberdrola Cup Team Profile

The Badminton Soria-CS24 Club will be one of the twelve clubs participating in the Iberdrola Cup that for this 2025 edition will be held in Toledo on September 13 and 14.

The Iberdrola Cup is an exclusively female participation competition and that the Badminton Soria-CS24 club always has the will to participate. The twelve participating teams are determined according to the classification obtained in the Club League of the 2024/25 season and thanks to which the Soriano Club will be measured to the great clubs of the national scene.

The draw has not been especially favorable since the Badminton Soria-CS24 club has been framed in Group I facing the first standard head, the Bádminton Oviedo club and the Malaga people of the Bádminton Benalmádena club.

The aspirations of the Sorianas are very modest having on the horizon the fantastic fifth place achieved in the 2023 season. For this edition the bet of the Soriana Club is to participate with a very young team. Only one of the displaced players is of the absolute category while the rest will be U-19, U-17 and U-15 players.

The squad will be formed by Beatriz Hernández, who will do the functions of Captain, Daniela Corchón and María Gonzalez, players who will play the meetings of the absolute category and Isabel Corchón and Jimena Ayllón will defend the points of the U-17 category.

The participation in this exclusive event is in itself an award for players who can be measured to the best national rackets, in addition to promoting team spirit since the winner of each confrontation will result from the victories of three individual matches and two doubles meetings
