Amari Cooper Retirement: NFL Shock

A dramatic stroke with Las Vegas Raiders: a few days before their first match of the season in the NFL, the receiver Amari Cooper announced that he was hanging his crampons.

The 31 -year -old veteran had however signed a contract with the Raiders on August 25. However, he decided to end his career before starting his 11e Season in the GOODELL circuit.

A Product of the Crimson Tide of Alabama University, Cooper had started his career with the raiders (they once found themselves in Oakland) after being selected in the fourth row of the 2015 draft.

He later evolved among Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns before playing the last season with Buffalo Bills.

In 10 seasons in the NFL, he captured 711 passes for gains of 10,033 yards and 64 affected. He experienced seven seasons of more than 1000 yards and maintained an excellent average of 14.1 yards per caught.

Raiders will have to start the season with Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker and of which Thornton son as a trio of starting recipients. The quarter Geno Smith will however be able to count on the feeling Brock Bowers as a bound winger as a favorite target.
