Kick -off of the 2025 national disabled championship

On the morning of September 10, at the Cultural and Sports Service Center in the Tân Son Nhât district, the Culture and Sports Service of Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the Paralympic Committee of Vietnam, officially inaugurated the national swimming, chess, boccia, archery and judo champion for disabled people 2025.

This year, the competition brings together 9 sports delegations from the following provinces and cities: Cân Tho, Dà Nang, Dông Nai, Dông Tháp, Hanoi, Hà Tinh, Thái Nguyên, Thua Thiên Huê and Hô Chi Minh-Ville, with the participation of 317 coaches and disabled athletes. This impressive figure testifies to the vigorous development of the sports movement dedicated to disabled people throughout the country.

According to the organizing committee, the competitions will be held at various sites of Ho Chi Minh-Ville, with the swimming and pronounced failures from September 10 to 13 at the Center for Cultural and Sports Services of the Tân Son NHât district, the archery planned from September 11 to 12 at the Center for Cultural and Sports Services in the Dông Hôi district, the Boccia disputed from September 11 to 13 Tân Thoi Hiêp, and finally judo organized from 11 to 12 September to 12 at the Center for Cultural and Sports Services in the Hung district.

The organizing committee gives the prices for the 50 -m female back test.

The national sports championship for disabled people has a deep human value: it not only encourages people with disabilities to practice physical activity, strengthen their health and integrate with confidence in the community, but also offers them the opportunity to demonstrate their talents, their will and their spirit of surpassing. Through this event, the message “Sport for all – no one is left out” continues to spread, helping to build a benevolent and united community.

In addition, this edition is of particular professional importance: it allows managers and coaches to assess the quality of the training and to select the best athletes to participate in the 13es Paralympic games of Southeast Asia (Asean Para Games 2025) which will be held in Thailand in January 2026.
