Cantù: Livigno Friendlies – Preview & Schedule

It is (almost) the time of real pre -season matches. After the scrimmage in Seveso against Urania, Cantù prepares for the week of retreat in Livigno. The team will start in the morning, after a day of parking, and will stay at the Hotel Margherita. The S. Bernard will train and participate in the Valtellina Summer League, a basketball and volleyball circuit which, for some years, has been organized in the Valtellinesi resort.

The highlight, for Cantù, will be at the end of the week. On Friday at 6 pm, at the Palateola of Livigno, the S. Bernardo will face the Vanoli Cremona. While Saturday 6, always at 6 pm but at the Palascieghi in Sondrio, Cantù will see it against Trento.

It will be an intense month of tests and friendlies. Including Lombardy Cup, which returns to Desio after a few years. Cantù will face Blubasket Treviglio on Saturday 13, in the other semifinal Varese and Cremona will duel, the two finals will be held on Sunday 14.

Two friendlies far from Lombardy will interval the subsequent training program in Seveso: on September 20 in Tortona against Virtus Bologna, and the following day, Saturday 21, in Venice against Reyer.

On Thursday 25 September, at the Palafrancescucci in Casnate, there will be the “Trophy of the Angels” against the Egypt champions of the Al-Ahly Sporting Club and, a week after the championship debut, there will be room for a last test behind closed doors against Dinamo Sassari in Seveso on September 27.
