TSB Judoka: Relegation Battle & Results

In the last home fight of the season in the 2nd Judo Bundesliga, the TSB Ravensburg team had to give up VfL Sindelfingen just 6: 8. Despite the defeat, the Upper Swabia can cheer: thanks to the simultaneous 5: 9 defeat of the Rhineland Judoteam against TG Schwalbach, the relegation of the TSB is finally secured.

The decisive factor for the Sindelfinger Success was the concentrated quality of four top fighters who won their fights in the round and second half of the season – and that in a league where every point often counts. In particular, the two Hungarian top athletes made the difference: Niklas Böhm (up to 66 kilograms) from TSB Ravensburg had no chance against the triple Hungarian champion David Naji, as did Luca Guilbaut (up to 73 kg) against the two -time Hungarian champion Botond Szeredas.
