The eagle- the participation of Abruzzo in the Cup of the Regions closes with great satisfaction, with an encouraging budget that confirms the growth of the regional arcier movement. Compared to the previous edition, the Abruzzo representative has climbed important positions, bringing eight archers to direct clashes.
The performance of Teresa D’Amario Which, in the country shooting specialty, conquered a precious fourth place, touching the podium and demonstrating great talent and determination. On the sidelines of the competition, the president of Coni Abruzzo, Antonello Passacantandoexpressed its pride for the result achieved: “It is a positive conclusion, which gives us confidence and confirms that the direction undertaken is the right one. The merit goes to our athletes and the technical staff, who have worked with commitment and passion. But, for us, this is not a goal: it is a starting point. We will immediately put ourselves at work to further improve and enhance our potential”.
The most exciting moment of the day was marked by the presence of Roberta Di Francesco, Pescara arms of the Italian national team, who wanted to bring his greeting to the Abruzzo athletes in person. A gesture that has given enthusiasm and inspiration to the young people present.
In particular, Antonello Passacantando wanted to address a special applause to the regional president of the Archery Federation, Claudio Perrotta, For the commitment and quality of the work done in the area: “sincere thanks goes to the regional president of the archery, which with dedication and vision has been able to accompany this group to maturation. The synergy between institutions and federations is the key to building the future of Abruzzo sport”.
