Appointment expected by adults and children, it is able to actively involve a large percentage of the local and non -local population. This initiative stands out for its ability to aggregation, the enhancement of local excellence, the promotion of an active and inclusive lifestyle. It represents a concrete example of promoting the territory through culture, sociality and participation, confirming, in each edition, a symbol of identity and belonging for the community.
The intent is to enhance Santeramo in Colle and its commercial, cultural, productive, sporting and third sector activities, transforming the main course into a lively open -air stage, where culture, sport, music and food and wine meet to offer
A unique experience to citizens and visitors.
PLAN
Starting from 18:00 on Sunday 6 July, the stretch of Corso Italia concerned will be closed to traffic and will become a pedestrian area for all citizens, with activities open until late; activities to be carried out in a group; music; refreshment points with typical products; Wine and distilled tastings.
In particular, the program develops as follows:
*from 18:00:
-Negozi open, belonging to the most varied product classes, with active promotions of start of summer sales.
-Presence of the Santermano Sports Consortium (CSS) who, in the various crossbar of the course, will see the participating boys engaged in various sports (fencing; volleyball; basketball; athletics; yoga; table tennis; badminton; physical activity)
-Totally free play area for the little ones, with inflatables and mascots.
-The itinerant street artist, mr.santini, will entertain adults and children in various steps of the evening.
-Duting wines of the local wine company Tenute Giampetruzzi, in collaboration with the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS).
-Stand Food and drinks present throughout the evening.
*From 20:30: on two stages located in different stations, two bands of the Apulian territory will alternate (“The accountants”, with contemporary pop music & “De Gregori Acoustic tribute trio”, with music that will pay homage to the great Italian songwriter).
*from 22:30 DJ set.
The event is characterized by a long -term vision, laying the foundations to become a tradition rooted in the local social and economic fabric, with a growing positive impact on tourism and the economy of the country.
It is an authentic experience that has always recalls the curiosity of those who practice “slow tourism” (ie “tourism on foot”, such as travelers of the Matera path who often pass through our hill and have already expressed positive feedback during previous editions) and tourists from neighboring countries.
Food and wine, wine culture, crafts and local trade, together with sports clubs, cultural and voluntary associations, represent the beating heart and engine of a tourist and cultural proposal capable of attracting visitors and enhancing social identities.
With the promotion of food and wine and wine excellence, the territory tells its history and its know -how, offering immersive and genuine experiences as tastings of traditional food and the best labels of local wines, presented by expert sommeliers.
Crafts and local trade complete this story by expressing creativity, transmission of knowledge and promotion of the short chain.
Sports clubs and cultural and voluntary associations animate local life (with activities and initiatives) and promote “the art of the feeling well” with the right balance between mind and body: they are the fundamental life that encourages social cohesion, the sense of belonging and the encounter between residents and tourists.
