Schelluinen – This Sunday evening at 9 p.m. Pieter Klein from Schelluinen will start a special mission.

He is going to run the so -called Kennedymars. This is normally 80 kilometers long, but Pieter runs 77 km and 777 meters.

“Why this distance?”, Pieter begins. “I hope to be 77 years old, and want to be sponsored for the ‘Church windows’ project of the Reformed Church of Schelluinen.”

People can sponsor Pieter in amounts of 77 cents, 7 euros, 777 cents, and so on. “If only with a seven,” says Pieter, to add with a wink: “But of course any other amount is also welcome.”

Pieter will run a self-set route next Sunday (that is and may be at the Kennedymars), which leads through the Alblasserwaard, up to Oud-Alblas. The finish is back in Schelluinen somewhere on Monday.

For people who want to sponsor Pieter: the bank account of the church stewards of the Reformed Church of Schelluinen is NL 84 Rabo 0322212367.
