Friday June 13, 2025 The general assembly of the Phoenix Badminton Club of the latequières-en-Vimeu. The meeting started with a summary of the past season. In January, the club notably welcomed the departmental championship of simple at the Friville-Escarbotin gymnasium. Other events also punctuated the year: the first edition of a lottery, whose results were positive, the birthday party for the ten years of the club on the fluorescent theme, the holding of a stand Christmas market of Feuquières-en-Vimeuas well as an egg hunt organized for young licensees at the Gymnasium in Feuquières, who met with great success. The latter should also be renewed in 2026.
The club also plans to participate in the Fêtequières music festival the June 28as well as at the municipal feast of Saint-Quentin-la-Motte the June 29.
A new season already in preparation
For the saison 2025-2026several events are already scheduled: a karaoke evening for the benefit of Telethon September 6 in Feuquières, as well as another solidarity evening in Saint-Quentin-la-Motte in November. Counts of competitions and interclubs are also envisaged, with dates to be defined, as is a sports internship project supervised by a coach.
A strong commitment to training
The number of licensees remains stable Compared to the previous year, despite departures and arrivals linked to age groups. The club highlighted the importance of supervision for young people, which requires a strong investment in time and energy. As such, he supports licensees wishing to undergo training to ensure the supervision of training, or even train in arbitration.
A season rich in sports results
On the sporting level, the club has distinguished itself this season with several finalists and winners, all categories combined, during competitions at Amiens, Ailly-sur-Noyeor Péronne.
New slots and organization
Training slots for next season have been announced. They will be divided between the municipalities of Feuquières-en-Vimeu and Saint-Quentin-la-Motte. However, due to the small number of participants on Saturday, the club decided to remove this niche, in order to make it available to another sports association.
The meeting ended in conviviality around a barbecue Offered to licensees and their families, to close a dynamic and promising season.
