Opening of the National Family Badminton and Table Tennis Championship

On the morning of June 24, the 2025 family badminton and table tennis championship officially opened its doors at the provincial sports gymnasium in Quang Nam.

The tournament was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam in coordination with the Department of Sports and Physical Training of Vietnam and is one of the activities of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Days – Quang Nam 2025 with the theme “Green Heritage Zone”.

The tournament has 19 provincial and municipal units on a national scale with more than 268 athletes in competition in 2 events.

In badminton, the athletes will compete for 22 series of medals, participating in 5 tests, including: the husband and wife pairs; father and son pairs; father and daughter pairs; mother and son pairs; Mother and daughter pairs in the 6 year old group.

Table tennis is arguing 22 sets of medals, participating in 5 similar events, according to 5 age groups.

Through this tournament, the organizing committee wishes to transmit the message to stimulate tourism development and promote sports activities in the province.

At the same time, we hope to create solidarity and healthy sports competitions to encourage the spirit of regular sports practice and participation in national sports competitions, as well as in the province, helping to promote and improve the efficiency and quality of the activities of the basic sports movement.

The province of Quang Nam also hopes to offer delegations participating in the tournament the opportunity to visit, experiment, explore famous landscapes, learn more about historical and cultural traditions, the potential and socio-economic achievements of Quang Nam.
